Zombie Pandemic - Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions apply for all users of the game Zombie Pandemic.

Conditions of participation
To participate in the game “Zombie Pandemic” the user has to accept the Terms and Conditions stated by the Zombie Pandemic development team referred to as the carrier in the following.
The carrier reserves the right to modify or extend these terms and conditions at any time. If modification occurs users will informed in a suitable way by notification. This notification shall either be effected by a special window opening on the zombie pandemic website when logging onto the gaming platform, and on the weblog and forum.

Beta Stage
The game is currently in a beta stage meaning the game isn't fully developed and thus functional. There are still several key game features which haven't been made available yet. As a result frequent server updates with adjusted, extended and modified game content can be expected resulting in instability of the game.

Created user accounts may also be subject to deletion at which point a beta tester must create a new account. User accounts will be reset several times during the beta test in order to balance out the gameplay.

Premium Membership:
Users can purchase a premium membership and thus obtain the right to use an enhanced range of functions of the game. Information on the type and extent of such additional functions can be found on the website. As the game world is continuously being enhanced the carrier reserves the right to offer new features at any given time and also reserves the right to modify individual features and to cease offering them.

Submitting suggestions
Suggestions are welcomed in the beta testing process. By submitting ideas, suggestions, in game features, changes in the text contents etc. using the official beta feedback form or by e-mail you allow Pixel Pandemic to actually use this input and all the rights in any given form for Zombie Pandemic. By submitting pictures, art or similar creative material you also verify that no copyrights are violated and are liable in case of 3rd part validation.

Liability
The carrier is not liable in any way for server breakdown, faulty programming or any other issues which may cause the service to be unavailable. 
The carrier is not liable for any damages caused by the use of game in any way.

Termination of account
The membership may be terminated by the user by deleting the account. The carrier always reserves the right to delete or to block accounts in a case of violation of terms and conditions, rules of the game or for any other reason at all. The Zombie Pandemic admin staff decides solely if the terms and conditions have been violated and the user has no legal claim with regards to account termination.

Contents and communication
The carrier offers a platform that allows users to play and communicate with each other. Users are responsible for the contents of their communication. The carrier does not allow pornographic, offensive and illegal content and is not responsible for the communication of other users. Offensive communication includes insulting and threathning behaviour. Violations may result in deletion of user account. All communication and in game tagging is logged in a database with the users ID.

Age restrictions
The game has not yet been rated but is intended for a mature audience. The game may contain imagery, a storyline, violent gameplay and other elements which some players find disturbing and not suitable to children. Thus players must be 18 years or older at the time of sign up.

Accounts
Users are allowed to have several accounts per server as long as they don’t collaborate in any way. If the carrier suspects any illegal actions we reserve the right to delete the user account without prior notice.

E-mail privacy
The carrier respects the users e-mail privacy and will not share, rent or sell your e-mail address to anyone. Newsletters are distributed on a monthly basis or less and users can always unsubscribe anytime they want.
