Storyline of the Zombie MMO Game

Zombie Pandemic is a text based 2D browser based horror MMO game in which the storyline plays a central part of the gameplay.

We don't want to tell too much as the player has to learn the story for himself while being part of it, along with the thousands of other people in the MMORPG who make the game come alive.

The game is based on a zombie outbreak scenario and is set in an apocalyptic world where civilization is in chaos. A mutated virus which started as a flu has spread as a pandemic, killing millions of people. There are several rumors of the source of the virus but nothing has been confirmed.

Governments have quarantined every major city around the world as reports of unspeakable events started occurring. As mass hysteria spreads, riots fuel the need for martial law which is taken into effect to counter the unthinkable.

The living dead rise to feast upon the living.

You wake up realizing something is terribly wrong. The military has quarantined the city. You don't know why. You don't remember anything. Even worse, you are on the wrong side of the military curfew with only a couple of items and the location to your old apartment. One of the first things you need to do is make it to one of the safe zones set up inside the quarantined city by other survivors. The safe zones may contain helpful information and/or equipment. You can also aid other players, explore the zombie infested area and start trying to uncover the truth behind the zombie outbreak. As you progress around the city your options become greater along with your skills.
