The movie takes place on the first night of a zombie outbreak and presented in a documentary style which includes a handheld camera style following a camera crew who obviously end up documenting the horror full events as they unfold in the zombie apocalypse.
The subjective camera actually works quite well and never gets to messy like some may think the Blair Witch Project turned out to be.
One of our favorite scenes include a shot of zombies who staggering around at the bottom of a swimming pool.
Overall the movie has a lot cool scares, but one of the more disappointing things would be the voice-over which did seem a bit too eager to over explain and overall its worthy entry in the Dead series, though our favorites are still the old classics and particularly Dawn of The Dead.
